A modular setup of Slope Safe™ anchors is used for a horizontal lifeline (HLL) to run along the peak of the building to provide continuous fall protection coverage. To provide 100% worker protection a permanent vertical lifeline (VLL) cable runs to the hatch to protect workers as they transit from the hatch to the HLL. In this installation of Slope Safe™ the structural sheet was installed underneath the shingles, allowing for the ability to re-roof without removing the attachment to the structure. The black integrated flashing provides a clean look and acts as the initial defense against water penetration.
